Overview The M series is a full size machine designed for high sample out put. The Phoenix uses a modular system of construction so if your analysis program calls for 60,000 or 1000 samples per annum there is a Phoenix model specifically for that job. Samples are dissolved and mixed into a lithium borate flux at temperatures ranging from 800 to 1250°C (Typical fusion temperature is 1050°C). This is done over oxygen-enriched flames using specially designed burners. The sample is automatically poured into pre-heated moulds.
